Theatre Festival - International theatre balanced with
Irish productions, especially new plays.
Jeans for Genes Day
- Held by national children's charity Jeans
for Genes. The annual event raises funds for children with genetic
disorders. Wear jeans and make a donation.
Ilkely
Literature Festival - Events include discussions, literary
walks, workshops, performances, poetry, a Children and Young People's
Weekend, and more in the town of Ilkely, (West
Yorkshire).
Anglesey
Oyster & Welsh Produce Festival - Celebrity chefs,
Anglesey Food Awards, talks, seminars and demonstrations including the
Welsh Cheese Seminar, competitions, entertainment and plenty of food
are all part of this festival.
Wexford
Festival Opera - Brand-new productions, choral and orchestral
concerts, lunchtime recitals, talks, stand-up shows, an extensive
fringe program, all in a setting of genuine charm.
Exeter Autumn Festival a celebration of music,
theatre, comedy, art, dance and other types of performance. The festival
showcases local talent and features some national and international
events.
Hastings
Week - One of the most famous dates in English history - 14th
October 1066, when the Battle of Hastings was fought and won - is
marked by a special week of varied and colourful events.

Film Festival - The UK's largest public film event,
screening 300 films from 60 countries.
Manchester Science
Festival - explore, discover and enjoy over 150 science
events taking place at venues across Greater Manchester.
