Leeds International Film Festival
- 5 November (Friday) 2010 - Bonfire Night - the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot
when a group of conspirators, included Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow
up the House of Lords on November 5, 1605.

Animation Festival - The UK's longest-running and
biggest animation festival, with the highlight the annual BAF Awards.

Southwold Literature Festival is held in a small seaside
resort in Suffolk. Part of the Ways with Words series of literature
festivals.

Tenby Blues Festival
at Tenby in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Bath Mozartfest,
nine days of concerts in some of the city’s most historic and
atmospheric buildings

London Jazz
Festival in association with BBC Radio 3 returns with a
jam-packed programme that includes stars of the American jazz tradition
and key players on the European scene through to free musical thinkers
and the best of British - plus a whole raft of free concerts and
opportunities to get involved in the music.

Lord Mayor’s Show
from 11am. The procession lasts from 11am to about 2.30pm and fills the
whole area between Bank and Aldwych. There are guided walks at 3 and the
day ends with fireworks at 5 over the Thames

Sheffield Doc/Fest brings the international documentary
family together to celebrate the art and business of documentary making
for five intense days in November. Doc/Fest is a film festival, industry
session programme and marketplace, offering pitching opportunities,
controversial discussion panels and in-depth filmmaker masterclasses, as
well as a wealth of inspirational documentary films from across the
globe.

International Choral Festival - Choirs from around the world
compete in a variety of sections.

showcasing new talent in filmmaking and providing a platform for
emerging filmmakers to screen their work. Over 150 films in competition
will be screened over five days with a chance of winning one of 12
awards and up to £15,000 of prizes. The films and animations are a
selection of the best new dramas, comedies, music videos, documentaries
and animation from 58 different countries.
