Throughout June -
North Devon Festival is a
celebration of the rich cultural life of the area with dance, fairs,
art, lifestyle, sport, theatre, comedy, and nature events happening
throughout the area over the month of June, (Devonshire).
Holloway Arts Festival - A showcase of the work of local artists and film makers, the
festival also gives people the opportunity to take part in workshops and
watch national and international performers.
Swaledale
Festival - An annual celebration of music and arts
featuring classical, choral, jazz, folk, and world music in various
venues in Dales, (North Yorkshire).
Derby
Day Festival - The festival is held each year at the
Epsom Downs Racecourse, Epsom, (Surrey).
Wirral Folk on the Coast - Concerts, craft stalls, dance displays and workshops,
storytelling, instrument workshops, on-site festival camping, Ceilidhs,
and more in the town of Wirral, (Merseyside).
Much Wenlock Festival- An annual three week festival that includes an open-air production
of Shakespeare, a concert, literary events, exhibitions, and open
gardens of Much Wenlock. The Festival Finale takes place on Windmill
Hill. (Shropshire).
Rockness Music Festival
- "The
only music festival with its own monster." The festival is held at
Dores near Inverness, Scotland.
Grassington
Festival - The annual festival includes a comedy night, a
film competition, classical and rock music, a 'Festival in the Field,'
fireworks, visual arts, exhibitions, workshops, and more. Grassington, (North
Yorkshire).
Nuneaton Carnival
- the largest voluntary organised town Carnival in Warwickshire with
lots of family fun, funfair, marching bands, arena displays and much
more (Warwickshire).
Royal
Ascot Royal Ascot is the worlds most famous race meeting,
steeped in history dating back to 1711.
Edinburgh International Film Festival -
EIFF was first held in 1947 and was one of the world's first
international film festivals. Edinburgh, Scotland.
Leamington Peace
Festival - A free festival featuring two entertainment
areas, children's and workshop tents, over 120 stalls – charities,
activists, spiritual groups, healers, crafts and fairtraders. Leamington
Spa, Warwickshire.
Cheltenham Circular Challenge - The Circular Challenge is
presented by the Rotary Club of Cheltenham Cleeve Vale. Take part in the
Challenge Marathon, which begins at the racecourse in Prestbury. Or
participate in easier challenges such as the Panorama (6.5miles),
Escarpment (6.6miles), or Meadows (6.6miles). Cheltenham, (Gloucestershire).
City of
London Festival - unlocking the City with world-class creative
arts. Jazz, world music, walks, talks, exhibitions, street-theatre and
dance. All presented in some of London's most iconic locations: St
Paul's Cathedral steps, Guildhall Yard, Tower Bridge, the Monument and
Liverpool Street station.
