A charming countryside setting with views to the Black Mountains an outdoor heated swimming pool and a games barn all set in its own large secluded and secure garden – this spacious and very comfortable property has it all. Perfectly placed for exploring Brechfa the Brecon Beacons National Park and the sandy beaches of the Gower it sits close to Aberglasney Gardens (2 miles) and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. The surrounding area supports a wonderful variety of wildlife – the nearby Red Kite feeding station offers a stunning spectacle – and a host of family attractions including a Roman goldmine Pembrokeshire’s lively theme parks and even a chocolate farm are all within an easy drive. Several good pubs and restaurants are found within 2 miles whilst Llandeilo (4 miles) boasts interesting small shops an antiques centre a castle and excellent fishing on the River Towy. Golf tennis and riding are available nearby.

One of a row there is a slipway just across the road and a cycle/footway running the length of the Park passes the house affording easy access without a car to magnificent beaches at Pembrey forest walks an angling lake and more. Further afield is the Oakwood Leisure Park with its famous roller coaster. The market town of Carmarthen (3 miles) boasts a wide range of shops and restaurants as well as a cinema theatre sports centre and indoor swimming pool museum and an 18-hole golf course. Lovely sandy beaches and sailing on Carmarthan Bay 12 miles. Fishing 6 miles. Country pub serving food 1 mile.

Lovely walking riding and golf can be enjoyed locally and within 30 miles visitors will find a wealth of attractions to explore including an RSPB wildlife reserve a chocolate farm family theme parks and a Roman goldmine. The historic town of Carmarthen (about 15 miles) boasts a weekly market with excellent local produce a wide range of shops and restaurants cinema theatre sports centre and an indoor swimming pool.

In the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales these stone cottages stand alongside the ruins of 12th century Talley Abbey and are set in 30 acres of unspoilt pastureland. This is a haven for wildlife – red kites buzzards and other rare bird species are often seen and an otters’ hide belonging to the RSPB is tucked away in the grounds. Two lakes one of which can be fished by arrangement add to the beauty of this lovely corner of Wales. Each cottage is beamed throughout and all retain a host of original features.
