London Costume & Reenactment Groups

• Great Northwood Bowmen - a Medieval Longbow Archery and re-enactment Society based in London. Their aim as a re-enactment society is to present an accurate impression of people who lived in the 14th and 15th centuries
• Cherson Outpost of the New Varangian Guard - the London, England Associate Branch of the New Varangian Guard Inc. The New Varangian Guard is an Australian-based re-enactment society which re-creates the period of Byzantine history during which Viking mercenaries formed the Varangian Guard - the elite bodyguards of the Byzantine Emperors. Apart from the Varangians themselves, amongst those re-created are Irish and Scandinavian Vikings, Turks and Crusaders.
• The Diehard Company - 1st Battalion, Middlesex Regiment Re-enactment Group.
   
• The Medieval Combat Society is a medieval reenactment group. The object of the Society is to have fun whilst entertaining the public and generate an interest in British history. have regular training sessions in Kingston Upon Thames. Members come from all over the Southern UK, with members in Bedfordshire, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, London, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, and Wiltshire.
