This rally experience will allow you to get to grips with your very own rally car, on a mile long special stage, where driving in a straight line is not allowed! The skid control course will really have you in and out of a spin. No where else can you experience front wheel and rear wheel skids, two fabulous experiences with a different twist. Learn the art of control and experience the feeling of out of control! Your experience will begin with a welcome, introduction and full safety briefing on driving techniques. Then it's onto the driving. First you will start with four exciting special stage runs with your instructor acting as your co-driver. This is followed by a short break and then another four runs with expert tuition. The rally experience will end with a final assessment and a thrilling demonstration driven by your instructor. The second part of your experience will start with an interactive video on course familiarisation and safe driving lines. Learn the basic skills of rallying, such as a powerslide and the 'Scandinavian flick' with the Ford Rally Sport Trainer. Specifically designed so beginners can experience the sheer exhilaration and satisfaction of being able to drive in a spectacular rally style by sliding the car easily through corners, kicking up gravel and power drifting from one direction to another. You may not have had any driving lessons yet, but this is certainly a special way of experiencing your first time behind the wheel of a car. But not just any car, this is a Ferrari and a Group N Rally car. Ferrari is the most well known manufacture of performance cars in the world with a history that is rich with trophies from all motorsports and this is your chance to drive one for real. Not only that but you'll be able to have a go at rallying. This is all about car control as you'll no doubt find out that these cars are difficult to handle on a loose gravel stage. Your experience will begin with a 10 minutes welcome and safety briefing on driving techniques. As this will probably be the first time you get to drive a car, you will first spend 10 minutes in a performance car so you understand gear changing, brakes and steering. After you have understood this, one of the instructors will take you out for four familiarisation laps in a performance training car. Then it's your turn to drive the Ferrari for four sensational laps. In the afternoon you will attend another briefing on safe gear changing, braking and steering on loose surfaces. Then it's onto your first session in the Group N Rally Car so you can get used to all of the controls. Ultimate Driving Challenge at Knockhill (from Activity Superstore)
You won't get many opportunities to have a go at track and rally driving on the same day. Firstly you'll be starting in a single seater, your very own racing car to hurtle around the track with your backside just inches from the tarmac. With your adrenaline still pumping, it's time to go crazy on the Karting Track. With a top speed of 50mph, these karts are not for the faint hearted! Finally, compose and prepare yourself to scream from the driving seat of your fully prepared rally car. You'll be grinning for months to come. Your experience will begin with a welcome, introduction and full safety briefing on driving techniques. Then it's onto the driving. To start you'll drive three training laps at the wheel of a 240bhp Seat Leon Cupra to learn the best racing lines and breaking points. Next is the single seater - seven fast laps hurtling round the famous Knockhill track in your own F1 Style racing car. Afterwards there will be a break for lunch in the onsite restaurant.
