Classic Sports Car Day for Two (from Activity Superstore)
In one exciting day, you can now experience and drive on the road a minimum of five legendary sports cars , driving through the countryside for over 100 miles swapping cars throughout the day. This classic sports car driving day offers a full day's on-road driving on a route of approximately 100-125 miles through the countryside. You will drive at least five classic sports cars which may include an Austin Healey, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche, Lotus, Triumph, Caterham & Morgan (Cars vary depending on the location). Cars will be swapped between the teams throughout the day. The day is normally in the form of a treasure hunt and begins at 8.30am with driving teams being briefed on their vehicle over morning coffee. You will be paired up with another participant which will allow you to alternate between driving and navigating/clue finding. Then it's off into the countryside driving a genuine classic sports car in search of those vital clues! The day includes a traditional pub lunch and will finish with the presentation of prizes for the winning team. Please note that fully comprehensive vehicle insurance is included for drivers. Classics & Single Seater at Goodwood (from Activity Superstore)
This is a great chance to combine driving modern racing cars, including a fabulous Formula Ford single seater, with some of the classic cars of yesteryear. The programme starts with a training session in an Alfa Romeo, Ford or similar suitable saloon. Your instructor will drive you around the circuit explaining the racing line, braking and gear changing points. After a couple of laps you'll change places and you will have the chance to put into practice the points you have just learned, with your instructor by your side.
