East Yorkshire Costume & Reenactment Groups

  • The 95th Rifles & Royal Horse Artillery Battle Re-enactment & Living History Society. Camp followers portray an infinite variety of period roles from the families of officers and men through to characters such as tradesmen, doctors, gentry and even the Prince Regent himself.

  • Comitatus Late Roman Reenactment: Comitatus is Britain's leading Late Roman re-enactment group helping to set a new standard in historical authenticity. Putting on events across the North and down into the Midlands, the group is able to bring to an event a complete living history presentation demonstrating the life and skills of the Late Roman army, including infantry, cavalry, archery, artillery and everyday life. Our Roman Cavalry squadron is the largest in Britain, pushing authenticity and experimental research to new heights for the period. Location: All over North East England

  • East Yorkshire Regiment Living History Group one of the longest serving British Infantry re-enactment groups in the UK

  • English Civil War Society The main aim of the English Civil War Society is to stimulate interest in the authentic re-creation of seventeenth century military life in Britain,
