DerbyshireDerbyshire is a county in the East Midlands of England and borders on West Yorkshire (north), South Yorkshire (north-east), Nottinghamshire(east), Leicestershire to the (south-east), Staffordshire (south-west), Cheshire (west) and Greater Manchester (northwest). In the north are The Pennines, a famous chain of hills and mountains. Derbyshire contains part of the Peak District National Park and part of the National Forest. Derby and Chesterfield are the main towns. The spa town of Buxton has the highest elevation of any market town in England.
